FAQ

Answers for custom commercial signage projects.

These answers are written for commercial custom signage work. If your install conditions are unusual or you are comparing multiple sign families, send the logo and project brief and we will help narrow the right direction.

Is the displayed product price the final price?

Usually not. Most custom sign products use a starting price. Final pricing depends on the actual size, finish, lighting, construction path, and installation conditions.

What do I need to send for a quote?

Please send your logo or wording, approximate size, install location, indoor or outdoor use, and any preferred finish or lighting direction. A wall photo or reference image also helps.

What file format is best for my logo?

AI, EPS, PDF, and SVG are preferred. High-resolution PNG or JPG files can also work for the initial evaluation.

Do I receive a design proof before production?

Yes. Custom projects receive a design proof before fabrication begins, and production starts only after the direction is approved.

Can you build signs for outdoor use?

Yes, when the project is specified for outdoor conditions and the construction path, finish, sealing, and electrical planning match the install environment.

What is the typical production lead time?

Typical production is about 5-7 business days after final approval. Shipping often takes another 5-10 days depending on destination and carrier conditions.

Can you match brand colors and finish preferences?

In many cases, yes. Powder coating is usually best for brand-color matching, while plated or brushed finishes are better for metal-forward looks.

What if I do not know the exact size yet?

You can still request a quote. Send the available wall width, a rough target range, or a photo of the install area and we can help narrow the right scale.

What does the warranty cover?

Nerve Sign offers a 1-year limited warranty for manufacturing-related issues under normal intended use. Improper installation, misuse, modification, or unsupported site conditions are not covered.

Can I cancel or change a custom order after approval?

Changes are easiest before production begins. Once a custom proof has been approved and fabrication has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible or may involve additional cost.
