Refund, Return, Remake, and Compensation Policy

Nerve Sign makes custom commercial signs for storefronts, reception areas, restaurants, offices, exterior walls, monument signs, and other project-based applications. Most orders are made to order after a quote, artwork review, and production proof.
Custom orders are final sale after approval
Custom signage is built around your logo, dimensions, finish, lighting, mounting method, site conditions, and approved proof. After you approve the final proof, pay the agreed invoice, authorize production, or production has started, the order is considered a custom final-sale project. Custom signs are not returnable for change of mind, incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, buyer-supplied artwork errors approved in the proof, local permit or landlord restrictions, installation constraints not disclosed before production, or normal differences in color, brightness, material texture, or screen display.
Before production starts
Before the final proof is approved and before materials or production have started, you may request revisions or cancellation. If design, engineering, sampling, sourcing, or other project work has already been completed, reasonable non-refundable costs may be deducted from any refund.
Our remedy-first approach
If a custom sign has a confirmed manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or was not made according to the approved proof, Nerve Sign will work to make it right. Depending on the issue, we may provide troubleshooting, replacement parts, repair guidance, a remake of the affected component, a full remake when necessary, negotiated compensation, store credit, a partial refund, or a full refund only when the issue cannot reasonably be corrected or when required by law.
Damage, defects, or incorrect items
Please inspect your shipment when it arrives. If the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery at shark@nervesign.com. Include your order or quote number, clear photos or video of the issue, packaging photos, and a short description. Please keep the original packaging until the claim is reviewed.
Shipping delays or inability to fulfill
If production or shipping is materially delayed, or if we cannot complete the order as agreed, we will contact you with updated timing or available options. When required by applicable law, you may choose to accept the delay or request cancellation/refund before the order is completed.
3-year limited warranty
Nerve Sign provides a 3-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects in eligible LED and electrical components under normal use. This warranty does not cover improper installation, incorrect wiring, power supply issues, misuse, unauthorized modification, accident, extreme weather, water intrusion caused by installation or building conditions, normal wear, cosmetic aging, or consumable parts. Warranty support may require photos, video, troubleshooting, return of parts, or inspection.
Non-returnable custom items
- Custom LED logo signs, channel letters, neon signs, backlit signs, front-lit signs, reception signs, storefront signs, pylon signs, monument signs, and project-specific signage made to approved specifications.
- Installed, modified, wired, altered, or used items.
- Items affected by customer-supplied artwork, measurements, site photos, permit decisions, landlord requirements, or installation conditions not disclosed before approval.

France and EU custom-made withdrawal note
For customers in France and the European Union, many Nerve Sign products are made to your specifications, including custom logo files, dimensions, materials, finishes, lighting choices, mounting methods, and project requirements. Once a design proof is approved or production has started, these custom-made and personalized goods are generally not eligible for standard change-of-mind withdrawal or return, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If a custom sign arrives damaged, is materially defective, or does not match the approved proof due to our production error, contact us promptly with photos, packaging photos, order details, and a description of the issue. Depending on the situation, we may offer repair guidance, replacement parts, remake, partial compensation, or another reasonable resolution. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
